Stealth change to shining luminaries?

Previously if your gathering skill wasnt high enough, you would get an error message saying that it wasnt high enough. Just tried it with a kai with 87 gathering and while i couldn't gather from shining luminaries, i didn't get any error message at all. The hand icon to gather looks the same though.
