Easiest character to gear/level??

Frankly I'm open to most characters game play patterns and I think they're all fun. But obviously hitting end game is where the money is. So I'm trying to figure out which character is the CHEAPEST/EASIEST to gear up. I don't care about difficulty of play or learning curve. I can handle that. But if I can shave hours off my play time to getting to the end game that's what I'm after.
