Mouse Issue making game unplayable
So, I have been attempting to figure out what this mouse issue is, but it is easily replicatable on my machine, but I can't seem to find anyone else with the same issue.
The issue is that when I click on the Start Game button inside Vindictus my mouse cursor will automatically shoot to the top of the screen and essentially be magnetized to the top of my screen until I Control Alt Delete which gives me back mouse control to select Open Task Manager, then it goes back to being magnetized to the top of the screen again until I kill the game using Task Manager (Arrow Keys are amazing for Task Manager!) The first time I started to see this behavior was when I attempted to use the Steam Controller to play the game on Steam (Which, by the way does not work) however, I know to leave the Steam Controller Dongle unplugged now, yet the game still does this.
I have done a list of things to try to fix it.
Reinstall The Game: Did nothing.
Change Mouse: Did Nothing.
Change Keyboard: Did nothing.
Remove all HID Compliant devices except Mouse and Keyboard: Still Nothing.
Play on another computer: Well, I don't get any issues on other computers, but I don't have access all the time to another PC...
So, Here's my specs of my PC just in case someone needs them.
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600k Overclocked to 4.5Ghz
CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i (Could the internal USB connection that the H110i uses be sending random signals that Vindictus is picking up as Mouse Inputs?)
Motherboard: MSI Z170-A SLI Plus
RAM: 32 GB Team Elite Vulkan DDR4-2800
GPU: Asus Nvidia GTX 1070 Dual X OC
Mice used to test: Steelseries Rival 100, Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum, and a generic Lenovo Mouse. (Didn't test my bluetooth Logitech Mouse.)
Keyboards used to test: Corsair Strafe with MX Reds, Unknown name Ibuypower mechanical keyboard with MX (I think) Reds. (Did not test my Magicforce 68 with Otemu Blues, don't think it would have had a difference.)
Other USB Devices: CAD Audio u37 Cardioid Condenser Microphone, Logitech C615 HD 1080 Webcam.
Thanks in advance people, I'm so hyped for the Tiede, but I can't get it if I can't play!
Comments
Go to Device Manager, click the Mouse/Mice section, then right-click the options below and click Update Driver.
Nice thought, but the drivers for both my Steelseries Rival 100 and my Logitech G502 are up-to-date. The Logitech Software and Steelseries Engine 3 make sure of this for their respective devices, the generic HID compliant Lenovo mouse simply uses generic HID drivers and has none to update.
ALL Drivers are up to date, literally every single driver I have on my PC is 100% Up To Date.
Edit: I found out what was causing the issue. VJoy drivers for my old setup of the Nintendo Gamecube Adaptor was wigging out the mouse inputs even though the thing wasn't even plugged in.
