The new Ruins looks great, except for one thing: It's too dark, too doom-and-gloom-y. I much preferred the bright sky that kissed the white stone. Although changing the color of the stone back isn't necessary, the sky really should go back to being brighter so that the shadows on the ruins are less depressing. After all, the gnolls - which have been peaceful up till now - did make it their home, and it just seemed more homely in its previous version.

Hoarfrost has yet to get any upgrade, but I feel that upgrade should focus on these features:

- More outside than inside. The pictures shown by Kirstie reveal cliffs connected by small caves, and going in and out of those caves, between inside of them and the outside just seems like it would be very enjoyable.

- The sky should now have the doom-and-gloom taken from the Ruins but of course more wintry (blue and white), and the ice should still reflect some amount of sunlight. There should be a fog/mist typical in frozen areas, covering the boundaries of each outside area, but not obscuring any mountains or waters.

- A new obstacle for players to avoid. It's a semi-cracked ice bridge floating across water, which appears in multiple dungeons. Each instance of the dungeon randomizes which parts of the bridge collapse and drown the player, yet "cracking" sound effects give away whether the player is getting close to a breaking point.

- The bear scene in the early dungeon should remain. But more of those bear scenes should exist throughout Hoarfrost.
