Creating a party

Whenever I try to create a party (or join one), I keep getting 'Server reaponse delayed' followed by and endless 'Waiting for other party members'

Is it supposed to be that way, or is something broken!?

    UPDATE:

    Seems the error is in the multi-processing, since I was able to create a psrty when I disabled it...
