Killer Dart after Little Rat?

Found about this just recently, anyone knows how to do it? Tried it in several battles, couldn't pull it off myself.

Talking about ~0:57 in this video, for who doesn't know

    hold dart > feather > thunder leg . keep rmb held. you must be moving, you must immediately use feather, the charge bar shouldnt show up

    1. must be walking/running
    2. charge killer dart (charge bar shouldnt show up) keep RMB/Killer dart held down
    3. feather/campfire right after charging
    4. thunder leg to cancel feather/campfire animation
    5. release RMB/Killer Dart whenever you want, it cancels every animation
    yay u did it

    also if you want to store up a max charged killer dart to use as a cancel, save up a full killer dart first by doing the basic charge and save(charge to full then thunder leg), then use the feather cancel method to use it

    thank you for the gifs,i kind of caught everything about it
    but on the last third demonstration of the first gif,how do you do that basic attack before releasing killer dart? when i press normal attack it always release the killer dart immediately

    At least 3 years. It's also in Hoshinaki's guide which has been here since the new forums began.

    hmm, not sure but it's possible that it may be because of control settings?

    I use these for my settings, I play using keyboard and mouse
    *just tested, the option "Grab when Attack+Smash are pressed" is most likely the reason
