hello, quick survey id like to take, it involves graphic cards of Nvidia and AMD

please go into the avatar shop on a female character and put on this inner with the black color from the first row it should look like this
unknown.png

A VV7K6zN.png B jw2zHQc.png

please post the GPU you have along with the option( A or B ) that matches the one on your screen.

my reason for this survey is that If you have a Nvidia GPU, you would most likely see picture A, whereas AMD GPU's will see picture B. i'd like to confirm this

-pics used are in high-very high settings

-this case also affects other outfitters/equipment with transparent clothing

How high is the chance that the '15+' glow on the weapon, messes around with the lighting on the leggings?

    A, GTX 950

Might worth to mention that Vindi always had differences between AMD and Nvidia cards.I had multiple cards since the early acces beta and it was the case every time and still is. 'just tested a RX 470 a week ago or so and it was the same'
For example certain effects/shaders are different, like that blue light infront of npc 'houses',attacks like Siglint's lightning circles on the ground,Keaghan's ground explosions and pretty much everything like those.
On AMD cards those things are less visible/colors are not as bright or what, this also affects character skills btw.
When I first switched to AMD it annoyed me for a long time before I found out that this is how it works in this game and that its not a driver/settings issue or anything.

    Nvidia, B.

I always thought people with succubus or bunny set are using a different inner or something because when I put this inner on in beauty shop I see it as B. But when I see someone wearing it in town it looks kinda like A (texture-wise I mean) .

This is how it looks for me. http://i.imgur.com/DFhQMPv.jpg?1

I had AMD few years ago, and upon changing I noticed this difference as well. Currently I have NVidia and option B. I could been using different graphic options though.

Having ambient occlusion on also makes it darker for Nvidia GPU's, so keep that in mind.

This on my 7970 (AMD). I'll try it on the 1060 (Nvidia) later, but cool find OP. This is likely a shader issue with Source, light reflection being calculated differently by both brands. Either one could be the "intended" look, the surface texture is either supposed to reflect light or have a low albedo and absorb it.

I remember when I was playing this game on a Quadro (not meant for gaming, floating point gfx card for workstations), everything was more "matte" and shiny, but that might have been the low settings. Maybe to get the very dark blacks the card's shader settings have a big impact.
