  • Is there any reason to buy Merc pots after RISE?

To me, the big selling point to Merc pots was you could bring a LOT of them into a mission. Back when Merc pots were a new thing, the potion limit for Regulars and Fines was 16 of each, whereas you could bring up to 400 Merc pots and never have to worry about running out.

The new potion system with no animation and a short cooldown is actually a good thing in and of itself, but the fact that you can still bring 400 of any potion trivializes it to the point where you can just chug your way through any mission without consequence.

The fix? Keep Merc pots with their limit of 400 and reduce the number of Regular/Fine/Superior pots you can carry into a mission (preferably the old limit of 16, possibly even less). Then you'd have to actually think about when to use them and make the most of them, because you just might run out in a lengthy sandbag. People would learn to appreciate Healing Corona and Regeneration too.

  • Save those Life and Eternity Ergs.

I have 2k+ merc pots and around 800 GGs from various events and giveaways. Who needs normal potions.

Don't you ever get burned out on this game? Sometimes I need to go for months before I'm in the mood to touch a game again if I've been playing it for too long.

  • Stick to Vindictus NA, or go to Vindictus Korea?

Well, it looks like I'm done. The standalone client doesn't perform any better. Ridiculous stuttering, frame drops and if turning off the UI is the only fix, then I'd rather not play.

I can't believe the game is optimized this bad. It wasn't back when Laghodessa and Lv44 was the end game. What the hell happened?

  • How is Hammer/Large Shield Fiona these days?

Well I'm old school, so all the temporary equipment the leveling boxes have been giving me, I've been destroying. I don't want handouts from the game, I want to experience the story and the game as was intended, the way it was years ago. That means forging and enhancing my own equipment as I go, earning it.

Then whatever the Lv70 and Lv80 sets are for Fiona.

    Same for Evie.
