  • Interactive Crafting (Rework ideas)

Crafting foods and items via expertise could enable an interactive game like:

Osu, Scroll shooters, themed puzzles/actions of intensive examination, classic board games (intented for inconsistant concepts)
    *NOT* like dye ampoules
with scheme, time and difficulty according to the item being made.

Performing well in certain aspects and manners would then allow one to shorten the time needed to craft the item and/or one's production quality with the level of one's expertise and the level of product in production.
-Also possibility allow for greater yield (Currently intended for cooking)(Skill based)
-Also possibility allow for materials leftover. (Skill based)

Non interactive crafting could remain as a feature via simply being inactive during the production process.
Being able to selectively undergo a longer production trial or other options of preference could be added along with rewards based on labor, skill, time and dedication.

-Also possibility allow for being allowed to start production using a range of minimal items required
Ex: Minimal iron ore needed being 4 with max being 10, beginning production with less materials could make production difficult but achievable.

Should this feature be implemented, it could be expanded to enable the pause/halt of production on certain items according to theme/concept.
Ex: Cloth armors could follow a sequence where it can be crafted in various sequences , those that must be completed in a session, those that can be halted for a certain window of time and those that can be halted indefinably.

    Ex: of Crafting stages
(Normal) Stage of sewing can be halted indefinably.
Embedding could be halted for a window of time.
Fortifying would then be completed within a single session.

Ex: Cookies can be prepared and saved for a window of time and must be baked in a session(or according to recipe)

Components of crafting could be made open to trade while some unavailable, each requiring various level of expertise needed ranging both ways depending on many factors from

    - The quality of the piece produced.
    - The intended nature or concept of the piece.

Not all ideals listed here are to be thought of as finalized.
Both positive and negative thoughts regarding intricacies should be reminded that this post is simply to provide insight and potential blahh blahh
All that was listed are only small part of an incomplete set of theories. Effects on market, human feels and cat were not accounted.
