Ein Lacher AP Potion Doesn't Work For All Battles

I did "Rescue Mission" in Ein Lacher and didn't get bonus AP from my active AP potion. The AP bonus wasn't showing in the info screen after the battle like normal and the battle number on the potion buff didn't increase. Then I did the blood lord and it worked fine, so I think the issue is with the battle rather than my potion being bugged.

    the 10 "new" battles (from berbhe and donegal) have this issue
