As someone who has hated old NA Evie's voice for 9 years now, a simple revert to default voices will not suffice for me. That being said, we should have at least a dual audio option complete with the full English and Korean combat grunts and voicelines for ALL characters. Everyone but Lann, Fiona, and Evie mains have had Korean voices already so this should not be difficult to implement.
Definitely not a fan of this change. Instead of giving us options for face sliders or something they just force these obviously sensitive changes down people's throats. It's uncalled for and all we can hope for is a revert and or actual detailed customization for our characters (if they ever decide to that).
Not only do they need to remove the 7% damage minimum requirement, they need to remove the bonus cores you get for doing more damage in raids and RAR. I never understood the decisions behind rewarding players for simply doing more damage in a multiplayer setting. All it has done honestly is bring to light the horrible character imbalance in this game (which gets talked about often) that the devs never seem to get right. There are so many other things that could be better recognized in the aspects of raids (amount of resses/healing to teammates, doing breakoff, flinches done to boss, etc.). We even had all those random stats in the battle completion window back then, and I was disappointed when they decided to remove them in favor of just displaying only damage to boss. It promotes elitist and selfish gameplay that I personally hate seeing in my parties.
Remove bonus damage cores from raids. Remove bonus damage cores from RAR. I’m also getting tired of feeling so bad for playing an underpowered character so, remove bonus ranking for doing more damage in Onslaught. Let’s make Vindictus about teamwork and actually feel like a multiplayer game again.
P.S. Remove titles from Onslaught ranking rewards!
This is happened to me 3 times already. I go to solo a battle (for example let's say it's Regina), kill the boss, and get no loot. There is no battle completion logo after or anything. It just plays through the usual random screenshots sequence and then... nothing. I could wait out the entire battle timer shown on the top right and it will still not give me my rewards. Might have been an unstable connection to the battle since my net has weird spikes at the moment, but even then the game shouldn't be allowing me to do a battle just for nothing. I can leave the battle and the game would act as if the battle didn't even happen at all (even though it would consume my durability on my gear). Note, this rarely happens to me but it does happen like every few months or so.
defeats the purpose of having kr voices in a NA game dude go play kr client then?
I would go and play the KR client instead, but you can't even go and freely play it without having to go around so many hoops and hurdles. Some of us would definitely love the option to have KR voices seeing as every other character after Evie just uses the same KR voices as the KR client. It's really weird to see them make an attempt to dub over the voices and then just give up for no apparent reason.
As an Evie main, having no KR voices saddens me greatly. We've been asking for an option to toggle KR voices for several years now and I still want this. If anything, Nexon should put in the option to use any voices from the other servers (China, Japan, Korea) since more customization for your beloved characters is always better.
